Michael began his career in grain merchandising with Agri-Industries in 1982, working as a grain merchandiser at the export terminal in Houston TX.

He has spent 23 years at FCStone LLC and its predecessor, Farmers Commodities Corp., building a customer base that includes country elevators, cooperatives, grain handlers, grain processors, and end users across the United States.  Michael is active in the risk management and the physical trading of wheat, feed grains and soybeans on a day-to-day basis.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural-Economics from Panhandle State University in Oklahoma. Michael is also a member of the Kansas City Board of Trade.
