Introduction to Energy Price Risk Management for Crude Oil, Natural Gas and Electricity serves as a comprehensive, practical and detailed introduction to Brazilian energy market price risk.
Designed for oil and gas producers, energy traders, electricity producers, regulators and bankers, our course focuses on identifying energy price risk facing Brazilian energy market participants, and then showing how to manage energy price risk. The first half of the course explains in detail crude oil and natural gas price risk facing Brazilian energy market participants and the developing Brazilian electricity market oriented pricing risks. The second half covers basic hedging principles, defines and demonstrates financial risk management products and examples, illustrates the futures market price discovery function and how to implement a risk management program.
