INTL FCStone’s chief commodities economist, Arlan Suderman, has joined the lineup of expert speakers and panelists slated to participate in our Food Industry Forum event this July 19-21 in Chicago.
Arlan will participate in two sessions:
In the first, on Wednesday, July 20 at 3:20 pm, Arlan will conduct a review of food industry risk management practices, delivered within the context of historical pricing data and market outlooks for the industry’s key agricultural commodities.
In the second, on Thursday, July 21 at 3:15 pm, Arlan will join a panel of experts for a discussion comparing hedging strategies that employ exchange-traded instruments vs. OTC & non-traditional structures. Bill Lapp, from Advanced Economic Solutions, will moderate.
Arlan joins an already-stacked lineup of food industry and risk management experts that includes, among others, David Hightower of The Hightower Report and Dan Gramza, of Gramza Capital Management. David is slated to deliver an Oilseed Outlook (Thursday, July 21 at 2 pm) and participate along with Arlan in the comparative hedging discussion noted above. Dan will give a presentation on the discipline of technical analysis and walk attendees through possible applications for food industry ingredient and input buyers (Wednesday, July 20 at 4 pm).
The caliber of this lineup, and the insights they’ll share, truly makes the Food Industry Forum a can’t-miss event for anyone involved in the food industry – from the buyer’s chair to the board room to the backroom. Registration is still open, so reserve your spot today.
